ribbon emitter

Hi,

I'm trying to use this ribbon emitter, Ribbon 02. It's in the "Content" section of the library. It wants to emit vertically, from the bottom of the screen to the top. I want it to emit horizontally, from the screen left to screen right. I've tried all the emission angle parameters, and I've tried changing the layer angle, and then putting that layer in another layer and manipulating that angle. Nothing seems to work. The ribbon just gets all mangled.

Any idea how to change the angle of the ribbon?

Thank you!

I'm no Motion expert, but the vertical direction of the emitter is caused by the gravity behavior applied to the emitter cell. The only way I could get the emitter to emit horizontally is by rotating it 90 degrees and then applying a ramp behavior to the y value of the emitter itself, while disabling the gravity behavior on the cell. Hope this offers a usable alternative. Or you could probably substitute another simulation behavior to the cell by possibly attracting it to another object.
