PLEASE get SPECIFIC INFORMATION if you will on the following:

1. Will Motion run "Realtime Playback" on a Dual 1 Ghz G4 / 1.5 Gig RAM / NVidia GeForce4MX Video card??? If not, is there something I can do to speed up this G4 for "Realtime Playback" (add a faster video card)???

2. What codecs/output file formats are supported (I am particularly interested if all of the Avid codecs are supported)???

3. Are there plans to add 3D integration (Z-depth, geometry import/export, 3D text/logo production like Zaxwerks 3D Invigorator)???

4. What are the Rotoscoping/Masking tools like without keyframes???

There's a hundred more questions, but I don't want to inundate you with this now. Please let us know!!!

OK. What I do konw about Motion is that the Video Card plays a HUGE role in the RT Previews and I believe the ATI Radeo 9800 only works with a G5. Same with Nvidea's new card which according to Barefeats kicks serious butt over the ATI.

If a lot of the high end graphics cards only run on G5s, what card would they recommend for a G4?

As for Q4. Motion does have keyframes, so no problems there. What Motion does allow you to use are behviours instead of keyframes for work where that is the appropriate way of doing things, as they can be quicker, easier to edit and more fun!!
