Lightning

Quick question, if anyone knows;
is there a way to create custom lightning effects in Motion 1.0?
Is it possible to create one that matches the Adobe After Effects lightning filter?

There is a no-so-great "lightning" emitter within the "Thundercloud" emitter, but it is NOTHING like AE's Lightning in Motion (yet).

Of course - you can use the ultra expensive Sapphire plugins in Motion and get that and many other out of the box effects.

Appreciate it but,

Besdies using the Sapphire gen arts plugins, is there any way to create something custom to achieve the lightning effect? For instance, creating a custom emitter and setting the properties so that it achieves that realistic lightning effect. If not then it is ok.

I could use it too.
