Motion 2 and LiveType

I have been trying to find out this info...

does Motion 2.0 combine Motion 1.0 and Live Type?

I have FCP 4.5 with LType, Soundtrack, Compressor...but with the upgrade to FCP Studio it doesn't mention LType...so...

I want to purchase Motion 2 and wonder if it will work well with the FCP 4.5 suite of programs?

Motion 2 does not combine Motion 1 and LiveType. LiveType still ships with FCP Studio, it's LiveType 2. However, most of the things you can do in LiveType you can do in Motion 1 or Motion 2 - the only thing I personally use LiveType for anymore is to export backgrounds or other elements for use in Motion.

Thanks for the info...its confusing because Live Type isn't listed as being part of the upgrade (FCP Studio) on the Apple site or in the information about it.
