Motion importing into FCP problems

I am running a PowerMac 1.25GHZ, 1 GB RAM, OS 10.4.7 with FCP 5.0.4 and Motion 2.0.1. My files were fine a few weeks ago. Not sure if I Software Updated anything recently, but Now, my motion files cannot be imported into FCP? Not sure what is going on? When attempting to drag the file icon from motion onto timeline, there is no hightlight option. And if trying to import via dropdown, get error message. Any help?

Motion (pro apps, actually) installs a Quicktime component that enables FCP (and other applications) to understand Motion project files. Maybe that one is ruined or lost. Re-installing should do it. I suggest deleting any Motion install receipts in your Library folder (so that the installer really re-installs things).
