Can't extend drop zone length

I have a drop zone that is 217 frames long and I want to make it twice that - but when I drag on the end of it in the timeline, nothing happens - and when I select it and go to properties, the timing panel doesn't show anything that I can change (just the word "timing" and a down arrow with nothing below it).

Any helpful ideas?

Where did the drop zone come from?

It's from a project template I purchased from Motionvfx. There areother drop zones just like it in the template, so I may have to duplicate one of the other ones and use it.

Figured it out - the little sucker was locked. Unlocked it and presto! it works.
