Set Matte Filter and Motion 3

I can not for the life of me find the Set Matte filter in Motion 3.

I found it in a Glass Panes Template, but can not find it on the filters dropdown.

It's been removed. If you really want it, drag it from the template to the Filters folder.

Thanks, that's what I did.
Which filter in 3.x replaces this old 2.x filter then?

Not sure, I always just use an image mask
