importing graphic logo

I need to import a graphic logo for a client.
what format do I request so I can do motion graphics with it in motion?

Depends how you want to use it. In Motion Help docs (Launch MOTION: Menu Bar / Help / Motion Help), type in "File Types Supported by Motion" and pick the one that matched your needs.
