Normalize, cliks and pops

I am mixing a CD - I know... it really has become the age of "the editor does everything!" - and it's not like I am mixing the Rolling Stones latest albulm.

I recorded some dialog in a sound booth, that I am pretty happy about. Music plays behind the volcals, and all I really want to do is sweeten it up a tad.

I've noticed that Soundtracks analysis tolls help, and a normalize helps. As well as a quick "noise reduction"

My question is. Is there a proper order to apply filters? Should I normalize then look for pops. Then reduce noise? Or reduce noise then normalize?

Thanks in advance!
