Splitting Dual Mono Tracks - Nifty Tip

You can now split dual mono tracks.
There are times when you have Lav mic on one channel and Shotgun or whatever on channel two in your file. You've got a stereo clip but you really want them split.

Option Drag clip from Browser to Track and it's split to two consecutive tracks.

Drag clip to a Track and Control Click (Right Click) on the clip and select Channel 1 or 2 and only that channel (and waveform) will be displayed.

Going "the other way" you can select two (multiple actually) mono clips and have them appear as one combined multichannel clip on a track.
