.stap files go offline when i try to open FCP

I send an audio clip to STP and process it. I save it as a (sent)clip .stap and keep the default name.

when i toggle back to FCP the sent clip doesn't reappear in my timeline as such. instead it's offline. even though i know where it is, it won't reconnect.

having the same problem. one web post suggested re-installing STP. Bleah. I'm a complete STP newbie so I thought I was screwing up out of ignorance, but many others seemed plagued by this madness. Please let me know if you figured it out.
