How to Bring a Song in from iTunes and Add sound Effects to it

and how or what do i look for. to add the effects to it. i'm looking to make a voice introduction sound different using STP. but i'm a Total Beginner here.

apple loops are caf files i think. you need to create a aiff then use the apple loop utility.

you might have a caf option in compressor but i have never tried.

also there is a lot of work to be done to allow sndtrk to be able to speed it up or slow it down. you have to mark all the peaks is just 1 of things you will go thru.
