Hi, I am looking into Soundtrack Pro because I need a sound editing program that I can filter out background noise.(Heavy Amounts of air etc.) and then take my actor's voices and increase volume. That is why I was looking for a tutorial on it, so that I would know whether or not you can do it with this sound editing software.

Although each audio situation can present unique challenges, STP is very good at sound clean-up. See above link for book which is now out. There is also DVD tutorials available now too. DMTS has one.
