Hardware?

I'm just now getting in to useing STP and I need to capture some Audio from a tape deck. I'm running a Mac G5 OSX 10.3 and the bloody thing has no Mic. port. I know I need an Audio card to fix this but what card would you sugest useing. Also is there a better way of doing this instead, like a deck or some sort of external device that would work better.

There are plenty of USB and Firewire audio interfaces available that you can use to do this.
