Fixing audio after poor placement of mic

Posted by Rich Johnson
So the audio sounded great on my wireless mic as a priest explains the function and meaning of some religious garments. Not bad, until he puts the garments on and covers my microphone. Still can hear him fine, but everytime he raises his arms or points or moves suddenly the garments rub up against the widescreen of the mic creating a less than ideal audio situtation. Sounds like a windy gusts in a church.
I obviously know how to fix the problem in the future, but how do I fix or "adjust" the problem in the present. I have Final Cut Studio, but don't use Soundtrack Pro that often. I've seen demos as to the wonderful things it can do, but how can it help me eliminate this unwanted noise from my audio....or least limit the negative effects?
Thanks,
Rich
