Audio lost when sent to Soundtrack Pro from FCP5

A friend is having trouble with STP and FCP - any ideas?

I'm trying to add a music track to my four-minute short created in FCP5. (I have Final Cut Studio on a G5 system.)

However, when I roundtrip to Soundtrack Pro with File>Send to>Sountrack Pro multitrack project ... the project opens up fine in Soundtrack Pro with my video but I lose all the audio. When I'm in FCP I can preview the timeline and hear the audio just fine on my external monitor.

Any help on getting audio back would be greatly appreciated!

So what opens in STP, nothing? He just gets a blank project? Has he tried using the send to function for the sequence in the browser?
