Open in editor > Opens in QT instead of STP

I have gone back and reset the External editors several times. Still nothing.

It just goes to QT. I unlinked clip and select only the audio and Ctrl Click and still nothing. Well, Quicktime kinda nothing.

Could it be that I'm Running FCP4.5 and not 5 because I don't have a Send to> under my contextual menu. Is that just FCP5 that had Send to?

There is no Send to STP function in 4.5.

If you're using open in external editor for a piece of sync audio attached to a video clip, it will always open the editor for the video clip as the audio is treated as integrated to it. You could set STP as your video editor and then force it to open in STP, but it will open all the media for that clip.
