I assume Logic can do this too?

My sound/composer is using LogicPro to sweeten and score my documentary, we do have some HVAC as well as airplane rumbles and other little tweaks. I saw the demo of how Soundtrack improves these kinds of things at the LAFCPUG meeting last night, and I can only assume that it's just as easy in Lagic to do. Am I right?

Nope, not a chance! Logic is a DAW. It records what it hears. While there are EQ's available, nothing I have ever used can kill the background noise like Soundtrack Pro does.
