Sountrack Importing

When I import a sound track from Final Cut that is in aiff format it speeds up the sound when I import it in soundtrack. I want to have the same speed as my orginal clip in Final Cut. What should I do?

Hi guys and gals. I am trying to raise my audio levels beyond the limit of 12 points . When I export my file into a dvd and then put it in my laptop, I must raise the volume to maximum to hear what I need to hear. Can the recorded gain be raised higher so when I put the dvd into my laptop I might even have to turn the voume down (as an option)
