NAB Demo

did anyone see the Soundtrack pro demo at NAB where the guy in the north pole had really bad audio and the demo artist converted a varely visible waveform file into a very visible one?

how can I do this?

I have audio shot in the field that needs some enhansing...I don't want to bring the volume up on the track because that's going to bring the brackground noise up as well...

any ideas?

I did not see that NAB demo, but the point is to create a noise print from the background and then remove that noise until the original material is left.
