Final Cut Express 3.5 versus 4.o

Hello....I am a composer for film and tv and am interested in getting Final Cut Express for putting together demo DVD's of my work. In reading I noticed that FC Express 3.5 has Soundtrack however version 4 does not. Most of the music I would be putting into the software is complete and already mixed. Should I opt for an older version of the program for Soundtrack? Is this a "can't do without" feature for a composer? How hip is this feature?
