Hey guys, i've a piece of music that i want to speed up without changing the pitch. How do i do that in stkpro?

As far as I know, that option does not yet exist in Soundtrack Pro.

Sure you can time stretch or compress in SoundTrackPro 2. See page 210 of the manual. Audio Stretching Tool. The range is 25% to 400% change. It can get to sound a bit "nasty" though beyond a limited range.

I just found that option last night and didn't have time to post. It's unfortunate that XML's won't carry over speed change data from FCP when sending to STP, but I'm glad that altering the speeds by more than preset percentages is available.

Hmm... i'll give that a shot soon. Thanks. There was another way of doing it and that was to convert the sound into loops which was an option with Soundtrack Pro and kind of disappeared with Soundtrack Pro 2...

Loop creation is still there kind of. You now have to go to Applications/Utilities/Apple Loop Utility. It's not "in" Sound Track Pro per se.
