Workflow for 6 track WAV field audio

Hi everyone -
I'm not very proficient in STP and was hoping to get some workflow advice to point me in the right direct. We are editing with a 6 track audio file from the field (each track has an seperate mic on it). Now I want to be able to edit each channel seperately in STP - however when I go to edit the file I can't seem to find out how to break up the 6 channels. Any advice on how I should work with this 6 channel file from FCP to STP?
