BKBrowserModule - Strange

I am getting the strangest thing all of a sudden. When I edit a clip in the project Editor, like a delete, a new STP window comes up with nothing in the project tab; but a new tab in the lower window section titled BKBrowserModule?
I have no idea what this is. But the rest of STP is sick too. The Actions tab doesn't update properly and things like that.

I've tried trashing preferences and rebooting; niether of which worked.

Any ideas?
