I am now in LAS VEGAS. I am about to depart for Europe, and am thinking of traveling light.

Therefore, I am putting some gear up for sale, (and I will acquire different when I get there).

1) SONY DSC F 828 8 MP photo camera

I don't need to sell this, but would to someone looking for an 828.

I would want a fair enough price so I could get a $700 Rebel XT, or similar current technology... or I will keep using this. I have had it for 4 years, and given it about 1 hour of use per week.

2) SONY HDR 1 HD High Def Video camcorder

Amazing SONY High Def video camera.

[www.videomaker.com] (This unit does NOT have XLR inputs).

Purchased one year ago, used 1-2 hours per week. Professionally cared for by a one-man video production shop. Very little outdoor use, only for a few hours.

3) iMac 20 - 9 months old -

[store.apple.com]

Purchased from Apple Store West LA in Sept 2007 specific for taking an online degree course. Awesome machine for business, or for school, or for making video or music.

Up to date OS X, a few extra programs - no high end software. Low use, low hours. Well cared for in an audiophile's Mac only office.

4) Panasonic DVX-100 video camcorder

Check it out on Google or [en.wikipedia.org]

I baby the camera, because some idiot before me dropped it and the lens assembly is touchy. I have had to take the sandwiched layers of lenses apart, and simply re-screw them back together. Might need replacement by Panasonic, or kept together by a good in-house person with small fingers and a jeweler's screw driver. The lens assembly doesn't stay put when hit - so I use it pretty exclusively in studio on a tripod, no hauling around in jungles, or wild car chase scenes!

I have used it occasionally for 3 years, perhaps 1-2 hours per week. It is an amazing 3-chip, standard definition camera, that has an awesome reputation, and simply works well - even with this unit's minor handicap that requires baby-ing. (I haven't had to fiddle with the lens assembly screws in 2 years, because I don't bang it around. You probably are that careful as well.)

I have 2 large Pelican cases which hold 2 iMac20s, or both cameras - plus accessories.

5) G5 - 2 1/2 yrs old, OS X Tiger current (NOT Leopard), FCS.

6) 2 Wireless mics and receiver. New 2 years ago, used maybe 5 hours.

7) & 8) I also have a Jeep and an RV for doing desert shoots here in Las Vegas - with kitchenette and running water. 5 tons of movie production studio, I even remodeled the dinette into an editing station! Sofa sleeper is nice. I also got the $300 1500kw Battery at Fryes, which charges with the $500 solar panel, so you can camp at $15 Natl Parks instead of motels.

Send msg for further info. Or, just send me money so I can go! smiling smiley smiling smiley

THANKS
