I use a dell 2405 as my regular HD tv . . . in addition to using it as regular desktop monitor and a HD monitor for FCP via the AJA HDP (and I use it on set somtimes in a similar way via the HDP)

Found this out on the Apple forums
if your file name or folder has anything other then 'a-z' '1-9' or '_' the send to command will not work properly
you can export XML to color and it will work as will bringing the files in themselfs, it is just the SEND TO command that fails

Soundtrack Pro, in the effects window use the time stretch
Final Cut Pro, click on the audio file and hit apple J for the speed command

I have no idea yet, still waiting on my copy to get in, Canada is a lot slower with shipping. But it was something I picked up in the release notes.
converting between DF and NDF and back to DF doesn't affect the footage any

Color at this point can't read drop frame timecode properly so it is best to convert your sequence to NDF before you send it to color. When you get the sequence back into FCP you can reconvert the sequence back in to DF.

in the sample editor window select a section of audio that is just the noise you wanna remove
go to the process menu and select set noise print
select the whole section of audio you want to clean and go to the process menu and select reduce noise and

I have a very extensive collection of Juice . . .
one of the things you can do to change up the look is to adjust the color phase using the color correction plugin
or you can layer a couple of one's and change the opacity a little
plus there is hints from Juice higher ups that they are working on layered jumpbacks however the problem is delivery . . . they would be HUGE!

because they aren't that bad . . .

HUI means Human User Interface and I THINK the HUI mode only works in Protools
unless Makie did a firmware update for the HUI to support MCP then it wouldn't work

using GB2 you can record upto 8 seperate inputs so you would need a I/O device that has multiple input.
many Maudio products have multiple inputs (some have 4 some have 8 others have 10+)
Motu also has devices which multiple inputs
what is your budget and how many inputs do you need

well everything on Tascams web site says that the US 428 ONLY suppports Basic Midi NOT MCP which is what STP and FCP 5 supports so unless the update the 428 they are wrong
