Yay! Awesome. Thanks, Jude. Really looking forward to trying out CS6.by chrismrash - Adobe Premiere Pro CC Re: Log and Transfer - AVCHD clip missing - 12 years agoBig never mind on this one. It looks like this did have something to do with spanning clips. After doing a little simple addition of clip timings, I found that I was getting everything. Does anyone know why the AF100 breaks some shots up into two .mts files?by chrismrash - Café LA Log and Transfer - AVCHD clip missing - 12 years agoHi all, I'm working on a show that was shooting AF100s. Instead of making disc images of the cards, they copied over the file structure to a G-RAID. When opening up each "card" in the Log & Transfer window, either the third or fourth clip from the card is missing. In other words, if there are five clips on the card in Finder, there will only be four clips in the Log & Traby chrismrash - Café LA Re: Adobe Premiere CS5.5 - Multi-cam mode - 12 years agoThanks for the link, Jude. It seems simple enough. I'm more used to the Final Cut method of cutting with multiple cameras, but this method doesn't seem any better or worse -- just a little different. It is kind of surprising that it's limited to four cameras, but I guess I can wait to see what the next version offers. Overall, I'm really excited about what Premiere offers and I wish I'd jby chrismrash - Adobe Premiere Pro CC Adobe Premiere CS5.5 - Multi-cam mode - 12 years agoI've always been a Final Cut guy and making multi-clips is like second nature to me. Recently I've been learning Premiere Pro, which is an awesome tool, but I'm a little confused about multi-cam editing the documentation from Adobe isn't great. Is it true that you can only do 4 cameras in a multi-clip? That would seem to rule out Premiere for Reality TV post. I suppose it's possible that they're willing to ditch the pros because we really don't make them that much money. All of them needed to have vis timecode. Instead of doing the nesting method, I took the time to create 40 minute ProRes 4444 file of the window burn with an alpha channel. I know you said you shot HD, but that could change everything. Sometimes that can be fixed by, while Final Cut is running but without the Log and Capture window activated, unplugging the FW cable, turning off the camera, plugging it back in and turning the camera back on. That's the thing: you said you've been "uploading in SD mode". Do you mean you've been shooting footage at 1080i60 (or 1080p24) and then capturing (not "uploading" as DV25 via firewire? If you're planning on going back and uprezzing this project (after capturing to Proxy), the last thing you want to do is capture via firewire. You're going to want to slit your wrists from all of the timecode screw-ups that Firewire introduces.
