Is there a way to prevent this?by 4stringdave - Café LA Re: Destination Problems and a few shortcuts - 13 years agoStypes Awesome! The first one works. The second doesn't The scenario would be I'm trimming an edit with the link selection of then want to move the edit to the nearest up or downwards like from a1-a2 to video or vice versa. Thanks so much for help.by 4stringdave - Café LA Re: Destination Problems and a few shortcuts - 13 years agoStrypes and Jude that was a perfect explanation. I got it! that functions better than I thought! I would've never figured that on my own. Thanks a million! Any idea of the possibilities of the "select clip" or "move edit downwards"?by 4stringdave - Café LA Re: Destination Problems and a few shortcuts - 13 years agoWhat I'm referring to is using the keyboard shorcuts to control the destination (patching) controls. When I press shift F7-F8 it unpatches the audio as it should. The problem is the "patching" shortcut (F7-F8) won't repatch it. I remapped both controls to other spots on the keyboard and still got the same results. I've tried to remap it to other places on the kboard with no avail. Disconnect audio destination seems to work fine though. But I'm limited to copy and paste in just one field in that regard. What I would like is to hit the down button to drop the menu for the shot angle. This would speed up the workflow. When I click on the auto increment button, should it automatically number change when I go to the next clip, or do I have a wrong understanding of that? Is there any reason in the Log and transfer window why the pulldown memory does not save any info in the name pulldown menu? It stays blank costing me quite a bit of time in repeated typing from the same shot on different takes. Thanksby 4stringdave - Café LA Logging 7d footage after an Mpeg streamclip transcode - 13 years agoI am working on my second short shot on the Canon 7d. The footage has been given to me in both instances on an ext. hd. After transcoding the footage using Mpg streamclip (I have not had any luck using the caon eos + log and transfer function) how can I log my footage in FCP 7? I am familiar with log and capture, and log and transfer function, but I can't seem to figure out how to log the footby 4stringdave - Café LA |
