I will need to open projects created in FCP 7 so keeping it accessible is vital. On December 11 I was ready to install X side-by-side of FCP 7 when I read a review posted 3 days earlier that FCP 7 was wiped out with the current version. I have been looking for an answer as to if once I install 10.1.3 that FCP 7 will or won't function. I have just tested the card within the Media Browser and it does look like there is only one clip. This still doesn't help my workflow to FCP7 or AME watch folder, but it does answer the question that somewhere within the AVCHD folder there is something that AME is not reading. It is nice to know that I can double check the ProRes conversions if nby KLLvideo - Café LA Sony FS700 mts to Quicktime duplicating files - 9 years agoMac OSX 10.9.5 and 10.7.5 I am wondering if anyone has run into this same problem. Here is a basic outline of my workflow for creating ProRes. 1. I copy the entire contents of a card into a folder. 2. I duplicate it and save it on an external drive. 3. I copy the AVCHD folder (or now on Mavericks AVC Content) into my watch folder for AME CS6 to convert the mts files to ProRes. Exportby KLLvideo - Café LA |
