What ended up working for me was to just copy the source media to a new folder and then when I go to reconnect to that new file, I just hit "return/enter" even though it was grayed out. Somehow it worked. Weird.by dadallas - Café LA HELP! Can't Reconnect File! - 14 years agoHello, One of my .mov files went missing so I of course used the reconnect media option. I used both the locate and search option multiple times (image #1) and it always finds the missing clip, good right? The problem is once I select the missing clip and hit ok, it goes back to the image #2 screen and won't let me continue with the "connect" option. It just grays out. I have HD footage (1280x720) that I accidently started editing in a DV NTSC sequence therefore my video had bars and appeared 4x3. So I decided just to copy all the clips in the wrong sequence timeline and just quickly paste them into a new sequence that matched my HD footage settby dadallas - Café LA Re: Producing DVDs that are skipping - 17 years agoYour problem sounds like a fields conflict. The problem is all the footage Im working with is 4:3 (720x480). I dont mind scaling the footage to fit so there are no black bars, but Im SO confused with all the posts on here that talk about square pixels, 720x480 widescreen, 864x705. Any clarification would be GREAT! What do I need to do in FCP settings wise? Tby dadallas - Café LA |
