The cross dissolve is the FCP X dissolve (Command>T)by qeditor - Café LA - X Single green frame in RGB JPEG with dissolve? - 11 years agoI am getting a random green frame that occurs in a dissolve on a RGB JPEG (about 1.3 MB in size) over imported XDCAM footage. I have remade the JPEG (which is a simple brown color) but it still occurs. It isn't on the original imported file and only appear when I use a cross dissolve. Has anyone else seen this? And of course, you can save your Compressor settby qeditor - Café LA - X Share export DVD with no autoplay REPOSTED - 11 years agoI asked this previously but did not get an answer: Possibly a dumb question but - I want to export to DVD from FCPX with no menu and no autoplay. The Share menu shows me either a) menu/no menu and b) autoplay. DVDSP lets me do this, but it involves using Export to Compressor, making the MPEG 2 and then importing to DVDSP. It would be a timesaver if I could just burn it from FCPX...by qeditor - Café LA - X Re: Export to DVD without autoplay? - 11 years agoThe DVD's go out to stations that require no autoplay and 5 seconds of black - they are using a computerized master control is my guess. I used to make these in DVDSP and I guess I'll have to continue making them that way until Apple decides to give me greater control over my output from the Share menu. Thxby qeditor - Café LA - X Re: Export to DVD without autoplay? - 11 years agoOne of my global broadcast clients requires me to deliver their programs on DVD with no auto start and no menu.by qeditor - Café LA - X Export to DVD without autoplay? - 11 years agoPossibly a dumb question but - I want to export to DVD from FCPX with no menu and no autoplay. It would be really helpful to be able to access all media on all three stations (all Mac Pros and all on the same LAN). I know that Lion can used as a server (and a lot more) and I am open to using it - from what I have read it would run on either a Mac Mini or Mac Pro,by qeditor - Café LA SAN recommendations? - 11 years agoI am finally getting around to creating a SAN for my three edit bay post house (2 video 1 audio). I'm still unsure of what I should be looking for - can anyone tell me what they are using? Was it a pain to setup or relatively simple? I bill a flat hourly, but good clients pay half for machine time (compression, export, upload)by qeditor - Café LA Re: Online upload storage solution? - 12 years agoI remote edit with a client who uploads 25 - 30 GB to their server. They use a dedicated FTP accelerator - this is my connection speed (http://www.speedtest.net/result/1677451562.png) - it takes about 3.5 hours to download their content. Admittedly this is a dedicated transfer with specific equipment (not an online cloud like YouSendIt).by qeditor - Café LA Re: FONT not working in FCP - 12 years agoDid you "Validate Fonts" in Font Book?by qeditor - Café LA Re: FCPX 10.0.1 is out - 12 years agoOnly Motion and Compressor on my Updates in the App Store - and I'm in Phoenix.by qeditor - Café LA - X |
