And that you have the correct latest Atto UL4D drivers/firmware; and importantly the Atto firmware is the correct version for your PCI bus speed - i.e. PCI (33Mhz) or PCIx (66Mhz). There seems to be some Atto files on your system listed in your post (osx_app_configby Richard T - Café LA Re: FCP 5.1.4 crashing a lot. What else can I do? - 16 years agoIt looks like you may have a Quick Time problem - I have had a similar experience to this. After my G5 power supply failed and was replaced together with the logic board by the local Apple service agent FCP began hanging on playback and wouldn't capture at all at any resolution. After 10 weeks of misery and the unit being returned several times I finally found the problem myself. As Vance correctly says SDI is a video format that can have embedded audio. It's difficult to give a definitive answer to your question without knowing... 1. How many AES or analogue audio channels your Blackmagic card can cope with 2. I would create one new sequence for all your edits - before you lay anything, under sequence settings click 'audio outputs' tab - set 'Outputs' to 4, select 'dual mono' in Grouping (asssuming everything is mono), and select 'down mixby Richard T - Café LA Re: Great Plug-ins for FCP - 18 years agoGreat Plug-ins for FCP? Spend $100 right now on Nattress Film Effects - simply amazing value... Richard Thirkettle Sunflower Post Productionby Richard T - Café LA Re: quicktime export problem - urgent! - 18 years agoI've had this problem many times transfering QT movies to Windows made on a Mac Avid and FCP (4.5). I have QT 6.5.2 on all systems. My first really stupid mistake was to burn a CD on the Mac's in Mac format only (not hybrid) - Windows simply didn't recognise the disk or file - how dumb can you get! Having sorted this Windows would then see the QT movie but wouldn't play it - either there was thby Richard T - Café LA |
