(as this is were the sequence stopped) I found an mp3 file in the timeline. So it was not Video but audio. This was a FCP 5 Sequence interesting for me because I convert everything into 48k guess Iby ChrisMoriarty - Café LA Over cranked 36fps Fluorescent Flicker - 14 years agoI just did a pick up shot with a recording base of 30pN over cranked slightly to 36fps. The fluorescents in the shot flicker (I missed this using the flip out monitor) Anybody know of a correction method?by ChrisMoriarty - Café LA Re: Keying - 14 years agoFW it's worth when shooting a Panasonic camera DVCPro HD 720p for green screen. You will notice in the viewfinder of the camera with markers on that a level is displayed in percentages in the lower left side. This percentage is "luminance value" While lighting your green matte zoom in to the screen and focus. When you "simulate" your dvd you have the choice of viewing 4:3 (default) or 16x9 (selectable) your dvd played on a 4:3 tv will be letter box on a 16x9 it will default to widescreen I don't do the QT Ref thing as I "send" the sequence to Compressor which then understands that every cut point is a compression marker then "import asetby ChrisMoriarty - Café LA Sony XDCam HD Final Cut Studio 1 (v5) - 14 years agoI imported media from an Sony EX3 at 23.98 Using FCP 6.03 The media then went to another post house on FCP 5.1 They say FCP 5.1 can't see it. The artist hears sound but no video within QuickTime playback. Seems the project was sucking all the ram. Monday Jan 5th I have to digitize a few PBS docs on HDCAM (not SR) and author for SD DVD playback. The tape label clearly reads CH 3&4 Dolby Surround Sound. When played back on a HDW-1800 Ch's 3&4 say DATA above the meters. Ch's 1&2 are standard stereo. My client would like to see me use this Surround Sound option. Q1.
