Then duplicate your clips (just to make sure) and use Cinema Tools to remove the 3.2 cadence and relink to the xml imported 23.98 sequence. However... I've tried this three times with my little brain and I've never been able to get it exactly right. (SHANNNNEEEEEEE!!!) SHANE!!! SHANEEEEEEEE!!by CaptainMench - Café LA Re: No sound with FCP? - 17 years agoI'd make sure you use the A/V in/outs and if you have to - use RCA to mini adapter to get into speakers. I use an old tuner that I can change from CD to AUX depending on if I am using the MAC sounds or the DECK sounds. The whole VIEW menu thing... Not sure I remember how it was in v3... but under the VIEW menu in FCP there was an option for EXTERNAL VIDEO... that should be set to ALL FRAMEby CaptainMench - Café LA Re: OT: Hello, I'm a Mac - 17 years agoOne more reason to send my Mom flowers on Mother's day... She brought home our first mac in 1985... her work gave it to her. I never looked back. (Then our cat pee'd on the keyboard... but that's another story!!) VERY FUNNY - truth is always funny. CaptMby CaptainMench - Café LA Re: No sound with FCP? - 17 years agoYou say you are seeing the VIDEO on the external monitor? Make sure your VIEW menu down towards the bottom has the audio following video. Which version of FCP are you using? Also - are you sure the GL2 has mini jack for audio OUT? Sounds like a headphone plug to me... not sure it follows to the headphones. Do you have rca outs on that camera? Else - use the VIEW menu setting for audioby CaptainMench - Café LA Re: Staggered playback when burning QT clips to DVD - 17 years agoYes... what you did was use the DVD discs as a storage device and not a digital VIDEO disc... it's very hard to play uncompressed videos off the discs themselves. Will be fine loaded onto another HD. Good luck, CaptMby CaptainMench - Café LA Re: Staggered playback when burning QT clips to DVD - 17 years agoRunning qt files from dvds or cds can chug the bitwidth (my word) of the movies. Your best bet is 1... to use the dvds as storage media for the movies and not as a playing device for them. Move them to your hard drive to play them... or 2... compress them as h264 or something like that and store on the dvds to play... But I must ask... why not create a REAL dvd with those clips? Do youby CaptainMench - Café LA Re: How do I make a SPLIT SCREEN? - 17 years agoI also like turning on my canvas' WIREFRAME + IMAGE option (middle button on the top of the canvas window) and then using the A key tool to move the images around after I've scaled them. Good luck, CaptMby CaptainMench - Café LA Re: Highlighting a part of an application for training - 17 years agoA simple garbage matte on a duplicated video track will do... then just lower the opacity. CaptMby CaptainMench - Café LA Re: How do I edit widescreen in a standard window? - 17 years agoThat might be worth watching too... seems you've got it now, but just in case. Good luck, CaptMby CaptainMench - Café LA |
