Not registered? Click HERE to register now merge clip>>>Audio bitrate - 15 years agoI have footage of a camera. The camera's audio is 16 bit. I have audio files 24 bit. Both have identical timecode. I'm trying to merge the files with the "merge clip" command. The merged clip is 16 bit and not 24 bit. Anyone? Or is the only way to go to sync in the timeline manually? Regards, Chrisby chriseverts - Café LA Re: Merge audio and Video - 16 years agoHey Andy and Nick, That sounds worth trying!!! I'll set it up soon. I think maybe the multi clip set up might work. With the multi clip set up I can Also easily impose timecode in the footage. We are running identical free run timecode on both machines. So syncing should not be a problem. I think I might get higher speeds with switching the multi clip. I would indeed like to sync my video against the audio. So the audio is sort of "master". Now when I have an audio track of 10 minutes, I want that to be my clip length and sync all the video clips that are there in that 10 minutes. I have to create all the clips myself? There is not an "autosync" feature? we are now shooting tape 35... I would really prefer if audio and video could line up by itself based on timecode...by chriseverts - Café LA Merge audio and Video - 16 years agoHello, We are shooting DVCpro HD for Video And Sounddevices 744 fot audio. We are shooting lot's of conferencing stuff. The idea is to let the sound roll and just start the camera when it's getting intresting. So during one long audio track there are a lot of video clip's to be synced. When I now use "merge clip" I get the whole audio file merged with one of the video files.by chriseverts - Café LA XDcam psf footage - 17 years agoHow about the field dominance of psf dvcam footage shot on XDcam camera's? Should I set field dominance to none? And I assume there is no need to de-interlace the footage since it is psf. My output should finaly be WMV and Flash. I'm using flip4mac wmvstudio wich works ok, but slow, when I convert in Episode my client complains that the image flickers. So now i'm back at the top to get myby chriseverts - Café LA Re: I can't see my multiclip in the viewer anymore!! Help!! - 17 years agoDear Chris, If you toggle on and off with the visible button of the video track, fcp will ask if you want to do this, you may loose render data. Please hit enter. Loosing the render data will give you acces to the multiclip again. Good luck!!! Chris Evertsby chriseverts - Café LA I can't see my multiclip in the viewer anymore!!
