The Hills on MTV is <20mins... but that's probably more due to the content lol It varies show to show even with the same broadcaster. The last two shows I worked on for E! were 21:30 and 22:30. It all depends on the ad $'s.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

Shane, that is only talking about the aluminum unibody Macbook... The last line of the 4th paragraph reads: "But Apple still sells a MacBook with a FW400 port for $100 less than they did a week ago. " talking about the plastic MB which got a price drop at the time... the plastic MB always retained FW. Since you're working with PAL widescreen, you should probably work with the native PAL resolution with anamorphic pixels, not square pixels.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

pretty sure the 4870 will not work with the 2006 MP... I believe you need at least an early 08 MP with PCIe 2.0 and 2 internal power connectors (which means no running 2 cards for additional displays). I'd really like to see some Color and Motion benchmarks between the 3870 and the 4870.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

No, don't reinstall the OS and FCP. If your sequence settings are set to DV-NTSC, then your titles will look terrible... change the sequence to uncompressed before your final output.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

I don't know why it's graying out the DF check-box. That seems odd although it may be something with the Easy Setup you used. Can you create a custom sequence setting for 59.94 DF rather than 60 NDF? Why is it weird that you get numbers beyond 29? You shot 60p so there are 60 frames for each second (0-59).by bigbossbmb - Café LA

the presets in Compressor are based on you burning to a single layer DVD. with a dual layer, you should be fine with the 90min preset if the total content is just under 3 hours.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

I don't know if the setting is on by default. I'd bet the TV's "Cinema Mode" would have it turned off. The problem is that most of the sets on display at stores like Best Buy have it turned on and some people think it looks cool. It's really unfortunate.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

This is NOT an issue of 120hz televisions! 120hz TVs are great for perfectly reproducing film sources by using a 5:5 pulldown so there are no mixed/interlaced filler frames. The problem you are seeing is the result of the "Enhanced Motion" setting which CAN and SHOULD be turned off (except when watching sports, then it's awesome). does the stretched uprez still have the letterbox from the original Digibeta? If it does, then you need to have the tape re-digitized and have them crop to a 16:9 frame size rather than stretching the video.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

yeah.... that's not real. the page is made to look like Panasonic's official webpage (and even links to it), but the DVX200A is not a real camera. looking into the source of the page, the image of the camera body is named "ag-dvx100a.jpg". even looking at the title of the page, it says 1/3" CCD 24p/30p/60i, etc.by bigbossbmb - Café LA

why would you choose a 1080i preset instead of just using a 720p preset? i would check your comp setting in Motion to see if it is still set to interlaced.by bigbossbmb - Motion
