(Its a database program.)by judymovie - Café LA Re: PRINT TO VIDEO PROBLEM, Please HELP - 17 years agoI have never recorded to that camera from a computer, but some cameras in vtr mode have settings that give you the option of sending the signal out when using as a playback deck or recording "in." I am the Prod./Dir on this documentary. It's been funded through numerous grants from the government and private foundations. So, the purchase is coming out of the latest grant award. I have had problems daisy chaining drives in the past which is why I was contemplating a firewire hub. I have only been using G-Tech and OWC drives at 320 gigs mby judymovie - Café LA media management for large projects - 17 years agoI've got almost 200 hours of footage to log/digitize for a documentary. I'm working in final cut 5.1.4 still and my footage is DV shot at 30p. I need some advice regarding the following options I am considering for storing media: 1) Purchasing a firewire hub and using 500gig OWC drives to load in the material (I'm not sure if this is a safe way to go) I've had drives fail in the past - tby judymovie - Café LA Re: Incessant "Drop Frame" message on output with OS 10.4.10 - 17 years agoThanks so much for the tip from Larry Jordan!! I recently downloaded the latest Operating system update version 10.4.10 and now I can't output to tape any of my fcp projects. The system is dropping frames right at the top of my projects. Is there a way I can go back to my previous operating system version (10.4.9)?by judymovie - Café LA |
