I am using mac, intel 10.6 quad system. I shot the footage in 1080/60i HQ mode. After attempting several times to load the Sony software, I am still missing a FAM file, which is suppose to be in the XDCam download. So instead, I opened FCP and am log and transferring in the files. Based upon that, you would think that you could encode to Blu-Ray. I read that Apple is about to launch a DVD writer that will write to both HDDVD and to Blu-Ray. Do you know anything about this?by Rob50 - DVD Studio Pro Re: Blu-Ray Authoring - 16 years agoI'm done waiting for Apple. I am going to purchase DVDitPro for the PC side of my Intel Mac. The interesting thing is when I pause the video, i do get a still where the playhead is. Once I press the space bar to continue, I get audio but a black screen.by Rob50 - Café LA Re: Cinema Display is Black when playing back HDV - 16 years agoThe drive and processors are fast enough as I have played it before. It must be a setting. Please adviseby Rob50 - Café LA Re: working with M2v files - 16 years agoCan you edit them within DVD Studio Pro? I didn't think I could do that? Or are you saying to create seperate chapters within DVD Studio Pro?by Rob50 - Café LA working with M2v files - 16 years agoI no longer have my working files for a project completed. The client now wants to make changes. I did keep the M2v files and have imported them into FCP 5.04. Will I loose quality if I render the changes (whole timeline) and then export as an M2V file? I also have my AS TS video files and have have worked in DVDxDV Pro (older version 1.08). Is the new version any better in terms of the losby Rob50 - Café LA |
