Now I'm confused and don't know what to go with FCP 6 or FCP 7? Since I just bought 7, please give me some good reasons why I should use 7 over 6, in order to rationalize my purchase. Generally, my plan was to "finish" on FCP X, and somehow take the finished final cut of the documentary and make a film print based on the original camera (Sony EX3) filby patrickshenry - Café LA Re: How do uninstall FCP 6.06 to install FCP 7? What are the steps? - 9 years agoNick, Thank you for the post, it was very helpful. I was told that in the find feature on fcp 6 you could only search one bin at a time, and on fcp 7 you could search the whole project. This is my understanding, is that not the case? I have tried to reconnect the files to no avail. It says that " is missing and I don't know what that (" is or means? The first project file that I started and basically finished re-capturing was an earlier file I later realized. I found the correct project file (the most recent one) that is twice the size of the first one that I re-captured. So I opened the correct project file and tried to reconnect the media that I already re-captured and it will only allow me to reconnect one cliby patrickshenry - Café LA Pulling Stills Efficiently? - 13 years agoWhat is the most efficient way to pull stills from a FCP project or a Quicktime? I've been using EXPORT/QUICKTIME CONVERSION/STILL IMAGE but I'm wondering if there is a faster way?by patrickshenry - Compressor - Media Compression and Conversion FCP5 project opened in upgraded FCP6, Playback Issues... - 15 years agoI have recently upgraded from FCP5 Studio to FCP6 Studio II. I first imported some HD footage from a Sony EX1 into FCP Studio II and it played back fine. I then opened an old FCP5 project in FCP6 and the footage was sped up. I've tried all that I know to do in the Audio/Video Settings and it hasn't changed. Now the original HD footage I captured in FCP6 is sped up as well. Does anyone have aby patrickshenry - Café LA |
