Any suggestions of who in the New York City area I could bring this ripped tape to? The door on one of my cassettes got funky and cut the tape. I checked the FCP 4.5 manuals, and there's no list. A few weeks ago I captured some 24P ADV footage and they came in at 23.98. I think I used the Advanced Pulldown preset. I want 23.98 since I'm cutting in a 23.98 timeline. But today I used the same preset, captured footage shot at 24P ADV and my clips are coming inby Garret - Café LA Building you own SATA - 18 years agoHas anyone tried to build their own SATA Raid like Ned Soltz describes here? I've been working with firewire drives all these years, but I've realized that for my feature length doc, SATA is probably the way to go. If I build one like Ned did, I can spend a little over $1000 for 1 TB. If I buy 1 TB from Promax, I'll spend at least $1500. Is going through the trouble of building my own worth $by Garret - Café LA |
