Hello you cant import raw NEF still files into FCP You have to process them in photoshop 1st download the latest Camera Raw plugin for photoshop Or process to tiff/jpeg using the Nikon software that comes with the camera that you can download via web for free Derekby derek hillier - Café LA

It wasn't that long ago you couldn't edit high def on FCP so I think everyone needs to get a bit of patience with FCPX the colour grading plugins 3rd party people are producing are great and cheap. I paid £1000 for FCP a few years back FCPX opens things up to a lot of creative young people as it's so cheap. In London most editors just don't like change, they love their workflow thats been arouby derek hillier - Café LA

I think if you have the latest version of the canon E1 plugin it will be ok but normally you need the associated files with the .mov mpeg streamclip works fine and it has batch facility and it's free. Derekby derek hillier - Café LA

Hello I found this that might help you Derek .plist for T3i on E-1 Movie plugin for FCP SOLVED!!! I solved my own question. I found the solution for E-1 Movie plugin .plist fix for T3i on Final Cut Pro. I basically started from scratch. 1. Trash/uninstall the previous E-1 plugin with the .plist. You have to trash the entire plugin and not just the .plist. file. Empty the trash. 2. Rby derek hillier - Café LA
