It's an Applescript. Jeremy G. over on the cow had the great idea that you could rely on dynamic linking to get an XML. I tried it out using a tweak to his workflow. FCP X>After Effects> Export a Premiere Project> Export an XML>Import XML into Final Cut 7 It worked. I usually make a copy of the disk image through disk utility before I import anything. I've had people give me stuff with bad file structures before where they just copy the movies and not the whole directory structure. One way around this is to go back to the camera, and shoot a video clip of 1 or 2 seconds (could be anything). Take that CF card with your new video clip and mount it onby Eddie Torre - Café LA

Yeah, you have to be careful when selecting an Expresscard. I don't know if the Sonnet bit is necessarily true anymore (old review), but it serves to illustrate why you have to be careful. After Effects has a feature where you drag a clip to the new composition icon and it will build a composition based around the parameters of the clip. Count me among the disappointed. I realize a pro app is more than aesthetics, but presentation is important, and FCP's GUI was really showing its age in the last release, let alone this one. Couple that with Color's interface (not only this release, but the last one too) and it becomes apparent that there has been, and continues to be a de-emphasis on vertically integrated design that is veryby Eddie Torre - Café LA

I'd highly recommend Rapidweaver If you don't like the templates "themes" that come with the program, you can buy a third party one, usually around $15 or so. I don't know HTML and I am able to put together a web site in no time. You can use quicktime movies too. Hmmm.... It could be several different things, but one culprit could be the power supply. I had a machine that was similar if not identical to your machine and I remember there was a power supply recall on it. The power supply was making the fan(s) very erratic. You could go to the link below, upload your picture with the font in it, and it would give you some suggestions about the identity of the font (or something similar depending on how obscure the reference is). Once you have the identity of the font you want, you can go about downloading it (sometimes free, sometimes $, again depending on what the font is).
