It just would be nice to delete files on a file by file basic; as this is the way I became used to doing such in the Windows world. But I must adapt to the ways of the Mac and the PC. Say in Windows I am working in 3ds Max and I have a file called test1.max I do some changes and create a new version called test2.max. From Windows Explorer I go to the 3dsmax directory where I saved these files. I click on test1.max; hold down shift-delete and I cby mark@avolution - Café LA OT: Equivalent to Windows Shift-Delete? - 16 years agoI generate a lot of test *.movs from FCP and they end up in the trash can. In Windows from "My Computer" you can select the file and hold "shift" whilst pressing delete; which bypasses the "Recycle Bin" and deleted it after a confirmation.
