If you move over to Soundtrack Pro, and press Command-Shift left-or-right square brackets... well, let's just say somebody's listening, and it's the future. Can't be long in coming over to FCP. Before it hits the FCP timeline! I have seen excellent broadcast results transferred to DVCPro and *then* to edit. The Z1 is great. I got it's little bother, the HVR-A1U, and I'm loving it. Like the Z1 it has three personalities: HDV, DVCAM, and DV. It's my bias and I fully admit I haven't thoroughly examined LT 2 in Studio. But try Boris Title Crawl for a decent crawl and good control over text you can actually see while editing. There's a reason why it's still included with FCP. In fact, for crawls (sorry, for video-raised folks: "rollsby Loren Miller - Café LA Re: O/T - have you ever created a website for a movie? - 17 years agoPeople on this site should be more interested in LinkedIn than MySpace. With a price to boot. I rented a Lectro system (cost: 1300.00 new) for shooting the Siggraph podcast videos for Digitial Production BuZZ (dot-com). Audio was excellent, one battery set lasted through 7 hours of footage shot over 4 days. Made life FAR easier since I handled everything: audio, camera, lighting (Hah!) and of course, the interviews.
