Fx-Script plugins are easy to transfer. Simple copy the plugins from this folder to the new computer: Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support / Final Cut Pro System Support / Plugins / It is a little more work with FxPlug plugins. The 1:56 effect is an overlay of inverted clouds. The burn out effect looks like some light effects that are blown up in size and so they appear super big. There is nothing really special in the video... Pretty standard stuff. Production cost is for sure less than $100. (+$1 Million for the rappers of course)by Christoph Vonrhein - Café LA

Agreed. Mass market products for the iPhone need to be inexpensive (under $5). Special interest software, like this logger tool for FCP, needs to be more expensive because it will definitely not sell 400000 times like Pocket God did in the first week! If the noise originates from the post-production process then you have a good chance to get rid of the noise with my NoiseReduction plugin (Repair-collection plugins). Yes, it was just a thought to write a generator with an image well that just passes the video through and superimposes the name of the clip on top of it. I know this would also change the whole workflow, as you don't deal with your little clips anymore, but with lots of generators. I also don't see a way to superimpose the original clip name with FX-Script. FX-Script just does not have any functionality to get the hands on the name of the used clip. FxPlug also has some limitations. With a filter there is also no way to find out the name of the clip, because this information is not provided by the FxPlug interface to the plugins. If you are producing for TV or a DVD, take care that the credit roll runs at the same speed as the scanlines. So make the credit roll go up by an even number of lines for each frame. Hi, now I got my MBP 17" and I've played with it a little. Here is my first experience after playing with it for two days: - Compared to the old G4 17" PowerBook, the mechanical parts of the MBP's display are better. Your output will be a DVD. All DVDs are coded in mpeg2, which is based on compressing YUV. So on your DVD will be no RGB whatsoever. If you edit in RGB, you will get quite some interestring effects, you dont want to see. "Banding" for example is a major problem in RGB space.
