At least we aren't Logic users who had to pay for 7.1 for 30 bucks and then 7.2 for $49 (at least they don't have to mail in their disks . . . becuase they use a dongle, do you want to use a dongle with FCS?)by David Slater - Café LA

as Mike says you don't need a 9800 card to run a 2405 but if you want to run Motion you would need it the 9000 has a ADC port and an DVI-I port and supports up to 1920x1200 which is what the 2405 needs (the DVI-I port) As Shane says DON'T USE THE VGA BTW it rocks with the 9800 if you want to get that card but don't get it if you arn't going to be running Motion or need the VGA output (to driby David Slater - Café LA

you need to move your clip over a little and then adjust the inpoint or load the clip into your viewer and check if the inpoint or outpoint are the the clip limit if you want the divided column look use the scrolling text gen and put an * inbetween where you want the column (IE your name*your position would look like your name your position) I do all my text's with the stock text gby David Slater - Café LA

what other "PRO" software supports the propriety format that JVC came up with that is not part of the HDV1 spec? Avid? sorry they only support HDV 1080i and 720p30 on their PC system (express only), Mac support for them is planned for later release. Pinnacle? opps they were bought by Avid and only Avid express supports HDV at this point looks like Canopus is the only one you neeby David Slater - Café LA

you need AU versions of the plugin's NOT RTAS FCP only uses the AU plugin format if you have FCS (the whole studio pack) they should work in STP as well (which has loads of great plugins and stuff as wellby David Slater - Café LA

sure outlined here <; apply a Parametric EQ from the Apple Audio filters (the filter is AUParametricEQ) to the clip in the timeline then load the clip into the viewer then push the gain to full in the settings for the effect and put the Q to 20 (makes a very narrow LOUD spike in the audio) then play the clip and adjust the CENTRE FREQ. till you hear the noise get louder adjust the Q (tby David Slater - Café LA
