If I can do that, it would be great! My music video project is 4min 8sec. I could even send you the NTSC minidv if you'd like to convert it or I can get another PAL converted minidv copy from the post house and send it out to you. Since I have never made PAL DV file, my question to you is how do I make a PAL DV file. First, it was shot on NTSC. So how would I be able to convert to PAL + DV file? Is it something the post house does or I can do it myself? I looked into the Nattress conversion software and it requires you to have a PAL broadcast monitor to be able to see the end results on the monitorby ZIA - Café LA HELP! Digital Noise on Converted PAL minidv. - 18 years agoHi guys I took my music video project to the post house in Houston Texas and had them convert a NTSC minidv to PAL minidv. I checked out the video and audio on there deck in PAL format and everything looked fine. I sent the PAL minidv off to a PAL TV network in Pakistan because that's the tape they wanted it on and they replied that the PAL minidv has a lot of digital noise. The cable TV networks are obviously NTSC system format 30fps but if I edit my FCP timeline in 24p Advanced Pulldown 2:3:3:2 in the XL2's native format the video was shot in and then "Print to Video" on minidv orby ZIA - Café LA Re: Red Taped DV Can't be airplayed? - 18 years agoGuys, thanks for the response. I used the Sony minidv at 60min but what they said the RED TAPED Mini DV. I spoke to their program mgr and he said that they were referring to the "Red Stripe" when they said Red Taped that folds up when you put the dv in the player. Now, Is there any other kind of minidv that is better than the "Red Stripe" because I don't know anything aboutby ZIA - Café LA Re: Glow Transition/Effect - 18 years agoI use Sapphire Plugins and I can assure that they are the BEST ones. Take my word, All four boxes are worth getting it. You don't have to buy all at once. You can purchase 1 or 2 boxes and they will give you a time period to purchase rest of it for the discounted price as if you bought all four boxes together. Call them up. Is it because we use NTSC here and they use PAL? Here is what they emailed back to me. "I tried previewing the song today but the audio was very poor and skipping and jumping throughout to such an extent that I couldn?t even preview it. The mini dv used was a oby ZIA - Café LA |
