Can someone please tell me what would happen if I create a hi res title, say HD for example, then edit it into a DV timeline (ie. down-res), and then up-res back to HD again before broadcast? (My programme is being broadcast in HD.) Will the title return to HD clarity on up-rby robk - Café LA Re: hi res titles - 16 years agoHello. I've been following this very informative thread 'cos it relates to my current project. I'm working in DV, but apparently my timelines are going to be "up-converted" to HD before broadcast. I'm using a lot of subtitles, so my question is what codec should i use to generate them? If I generate crisp HD titles and then edit them onto my DV timeline (down-res) will they return to thby robk - Café LA Re: 4X3 Safe title and safe action in 16X9 mode - 16 years agoHi. I totally agree! I'm doing 4x3 safe subtitles at the moment in a 16x9 project! Apart from Digital Heaven's plugin, has anyone found an overlay / grid yet? There must be a pict file or something for this problem somewhere? Thanks in advance for any help! I'm trying desperately to import Motion 2 files into FCP 5.0.2, ...but without success?! When I try importing I get the error message: "File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown." And when I try simply opening I get the message: "File Error: Wrong Type" Can anyone help???? Do I need to upgrade to FCP 5.1 or something? Thanks in advance !! Simple question - Provided I have the correct min. system requirements, can I run Motion 2 without FCS 5.1 installed? Will it work on its own as a standalone app? Thanks for your help!! Having a bit of friendly backup in a community such as this one is always touching and empowering at the same time - "e-bonding" at it's best! The copy/paste issue is only my main gripe with fcp because i use the feature a lot in avid (in the uk), and therefore miss it. Perhaps we can use Loren's ideas to support a renewed burst of the feaby robk - Café LA Re: Copying + pasting individual keyframes between clips? - 17 years agoThanks for responding John, but unfortunately I was asking a different type of question. You see, the problem with "paste attributes" is that it'll paste, for instance, all keyframes for all basic motion parameters, including scale, centre etc. etc., which is really helpful in some cases; but I was wondering if it was possible to simply copy an individual keyframe value, say for scale fby robk - Café LA Copying + pasting individual keyframes between clips? - 17 years agoHi there - Does anyone know of a way to copy and paste individual keyframes between clips, eg. scale, centre etc., ..like you can in Avid? The idea, obviously, is to avoid having to copy an entire move/effect/filter and then manually adjust your keyframe values by punching in the correct numerical values. Any thoughts greatly appreciated....Thanks guys!!!by robk - Café LA |
