Best - Andyby Andy Field - Café LA Re: Hi 8 mm input? - 16 years agoThere are Digital 8mm cameras that play HI8 and Digital 8 -- you can either pick one cheaply on EBAY or try to borrow one -- they have firewire out...will playback HI 8 and record Digital 8 -- about 350 on Amazon -- Digital 8/Hi 8 Camera with DV out or you can get an analog to DV converter (even cheaper) about 199 - Canopus and others make them Analog to Digital converter Bring in tby Andy Field - Café LA Re: working with still photos & don't have photoshop - what to use? - 16 years agoif you just need to resize -- use Automator to batch convert them if you email me off line or post your email I will send you the macro I made to do that -- the sweet spot for photos at maximum pixel size seems to be It's 1800 x 1350 x 72 dpi. That gives you some room to zoom around with enough room to not lose resolution.
