Before making the multi-clip....color correct the master clips in the bin. If each clip is one camera....open the clip in viewer....apply color correction. Do this to each camera. THEN make the multi-clip from those color corrected clips. It would require a locked down camera and or motion tracking camera against a green screen...carefully marking off where the actor stood so you could replicate the movement and then disolve in each version of the actor moving in other directions and changing the opacity or transfer mode (screen - hard light etc) to create the ghost effect - certainly doby Andy Field - Café LA Re: OT: Closed caption - 18 years agoGo here they're based in Rockville, Maryland - you can either send them the finished tape and they'll do it for you at a very reasonable price (even more reasonable if you provide them a verbatim script) or sell you the software (expensive - several thousand dollars) to do it your self. Andyby Andy Field - Café LA Re: Tape Stuck in UVW-1800 - 18 years agoThere is a service menu function on the 1800 -- I don't have it in front of me but you can do a web search for UVW-1800 manual and call up a PDF version. You need to have the machine video outputting the video BNC spigot that allows you to see the superimposed time code and menus (and have that function turned on on the deck) As you go deeper into the UVW Menus - there are various overrideby Andy Field - Café LA Re: Panasonic AG-DVX100B Question. - 18 years agoActually there was one big reason I bought the 100A over the 100B -- The 100A does interval record (time lapse) The 100B does NOT For some reason they took this feature out of the 100B -- read somewhere it was because they changed the DV Drive mechanism - not sure why) However I'm told that feature is back in the more able and HD HVX 200 Andyby Andy Field - Café LA Re: BetaCam SP Deck Issue - 18 years agoif you have a Sony 1800 deck - there's a menu option, I think, to turn the no ref alarm off - it's likely your monitor will have a roll in it when you record with no reference signal (picture output not in sync - roll or sync bar stuck somewhere in the middle of the screen) Ignore that - just record - it will play back fine.
